How to install the Flip Bike Chock

Tools

Get the following tools

  • Safety Glasses
  • Tape Measure
  • Marker Pen
  • Drill
  • Jig Saw
  • Grinder
  • Hammer/Mullet
Clear the deck

Clear your trailer deck and surrounding area  make sure there are no obstacles in your way.

Place the chock

Place the flip bike chock on the trailer where you want it, checking to see f you are going to hit anything underneath the flip bike chock

Draw the guide

Draw around the Flip Bike Chock with a marker, this will where you will cut the hole for the flip bike chock

Drill holes

After outlining the hole, proceed to drill four holes, placing one at each corner of the drawn outline.

Cut the hole

Using a jigsaw, carefully follow the outlined shape and cut out the entire hole.

Grind the edges

Using the grinder grind the edges of the hole and ensure the hole edges are smooth.

Give it a tap

The flip bike chock is designed to fit tightly and you may need to give it a bit of a tap to put it in to the hole

Repeat

You may need to repeat the process, until the bike chock is tightly in place.
